New Weight Loss & Fitness Page

There's much more to losing weight and fitness than counting calories and exercise. It's more of a 'whole health' issue. There are those that simply feel worse for exercise or lack sufficient motivation or energy to exercise at all. Also, food manufacturers seem to push the limits of the poor quality of food labelling in the UK to sell their products as 'healthy'.

Whilst we don't doubt that participating in a slimming or weight loss group can help with moral & emotional support, but we do have our reservations as to the quality of advice and the qualifications of those that hold such groups. Health, exercise and nutrition is all a very controversial subject with hugely differing views. What is the right diet and exercise program for some isn't necessarily right for all.

The holistic view is that we look at the individual as a whole, so far is possible and treat &/or advise accordingly.

We have started to put some articles together to explain how some of our Complementary Therapies that we provide at the Centre may help. So to start the ball rolling here's a few short articles.

Self explanatory really - we've just started compiling a database on local NHS services. Far from complete, but we'll try & get all of them up there as soon as we are able.

Health News Section

This New Section has been long awaiting an airing for 'when we get time' - but then the realisation that time waits for no one. We admit that we've featured News items that are more sympathetic to our cause, but they seem to get little voiced in the media. We also realise and accept our bias.

National Health Awareness (Days, Weeks & Months) Section just started  - see Left side navigation bar. We've started with some conditions & hope to add Therapies to this soon. Any unusual ones that you know & that we may miss please email us the official website for it - thanks - Andrew.

Isopathic, local, seasonal

Hay fever remedies

We are well aware that types of pollens vary from area to area & month to month, so we are will be introducing Isopathic remedies with this in mind, soon. These are similar to homeopathic remedies, except we will be using a wide & diverse sample of pollens from around the whole of the Wirral to produce an antidotal remedy.

If you have other known allergies or are looking for more permanent, relief, then we would advise that you consider NAET treatment (see below).

We see very few people with too high expectations - reality is - most that consult us have too low an expectation of their potential for health.
